We Have A Finished Roof

I can’t believe it’s been almost a week since my last post! I’m not slacking, the roof just takes a little time, and we had to fight the weather for a day or so. They did finish the roof today, which makes me happy because I like the inside of the house to stay dry!

If you read my last post, I mentioned that we went with the CertainTeed Landmark Shingles in Driftwood, and I am very happy with our choice. It is extremely difficult to tell how a shingle will look on your house based on a sample board. I’ll be honest and say that I thought the shingles would be darker, but I like the fact that they aren’t black.
